Simple and quick guide intended to only be a starting point for using food colouring to dye parts for pet rabbit toys

You will need:
Food Colouring
Large strong zip lock bag
Drying Tray
Rubbing Alcohol (optional)
Method:
Mix food colouring and small amount of water in a zip lock bag, aiming to have just enough liquid to coat all the wooden parts you want to dye
If you used a gel food colouring, hold the bag up to a light and make sure it has dissolved completely.
Add the wooden parts you want to colour into the bag
Close the bag securely
Softly shake and manoeuvre the bag to coat the wood with colour, which should take less than 30 seconds.
Drain wood and set on rack to dry
For even colour, make sure liquid does not pool at the base and turn parts often at first and then gradually less until wood is dry to touch
To prevent mould, wait until parts are completely dry before putting away

For now, thats the basic gist of colouring toy parts. Same method applies many materials such as vine, sisal & loofah.
You will get a feel for it, the more you do it. Will discuss some of the finer points in a future post. Cheers!
