Also known as cock's-foot or orchard grass. Often grown for indoor pets that don't have access to other vegetation. Can be grown indoors or outdoors. Catgrass (Dactylis glomerata) can be invasive if grown in the garden so is best grown in pots or trays. Sprinkle seeds on surface of soil and cover thinly with soil. Keep soil moist. Seeds should germinate in around 5-10 days. Easy to grow. Fast growing.
